Privacy Policy
In short: You can study without an account. If you create one, we store your email address and account data so you can sign in and keep Pro access. We collect basic usage data to run the service. We do not sell your data and the app shows no ads. You can delete your account at any time (see below).
This policy explains how ML Interview Mastery ("the App"), published on Google Play by Covenants Studio LLC ("we", "us"), handles information.
Information we collect
- Account data: if you create an account, your email address and sign-in credentials (passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider).
- Study data: progress, bookmarks, flashcards, quiz results and preferences. Most of this is stored on your device; some is linked to your account so it can follow you.
- Purchase data: if you buy Pro, Google Play sends us the product, purchase status and a purchase token so we can verify the purchase and unlock Pro. We never receive your card or bank details. Website purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.
- Usage and device data: pages and screens viewed, a random session identifier, your account ID if signed in, referrer, and browser/device type (user agent). We use this to operate, secure and improve the service.
- Email preferences: if you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address and subscription status.
- Search terms: if you use the jobs search, the keywords you enter are sent to our server to fetch results.
How we use information
- To create your account, sign you in and keep your study data in sync.
- To verify purchases and provide Pro access.
- To send account emails (such as confirmation and password reset) and, only if you opt in, newsletters.
- To understand how the service is used, fix problems and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. We share data only with service providers that run the service for us, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Supabase, for hosting, database and authentication
- Google Play, for in-app purchases on Android
- Paddle, for purchases made on our website
- our email delivery provider, for account and newsletter emails
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit. We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your personal data, except records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons (such as purchase records), which are kept only as long as required.
Delete your account and data
- Email support@covenantsstudio.com from the address you used to sign up, with the subject "Delete my account".
- We will confirm the request and delete your account, email address, study data and usage data linked to your account within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions. Purchase records required by law may be kept for up to 7 years.
Children
The service is meant for adults preparing for job interviews and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
